On a very short notice in the face book, the Naza Cruiser Owner Group members decided to meet on Sunday 5th of Feb. 2012 morning, at the BHP Gombak, for the ride of the year of Dragon to Lake Chini. At 9:00 am we rode-off in a convoy of 7 motorcycles and another member joined the convoy at Temerloh R&R. We rode on to Chenor where we crossed Pahang River by Tuanku Ahmad Shah Bridge.

After the bridge, we follow the rural road by the side of Pahang river. It took us through scenic Malay villages and virgin Rain forest.

At noon we arrived at tourist centre situated on the bank of Chini river. It was closed and the building was in shamble. We were unable to get information on the services provided at the centre.
We stopped for lunch at Patin Chini Restaurant (my own given name) at the turn-off road junction to Lake Chini. This restaurant is not as famous as the Temerloh R&R for "Ikan patin masak lemak" but I consider that was the best 'Ikan Patin masak lemak' that I ever tasted. We even order some fresh 'Ikan patin masak lemak' for us to take home (Tapau).

"Any more second helping for us..............sorry, no more for you".......a very limited edition for the food connoisseur (i.e me) only........hahaha.....nothing was enough for the best 'Ikan patin masak lemak'. If you don't believe me you can try it for yourself.

| Delicious!!!! |
After lunch we rode off and at 2:30pm we arrived at our destination, the Tasik Chini Resort. we were met with a huge crowd of PLPN traines and their families. It was obvious scenario as the prime minister visited the camp which is situated near the resort, a day before ( The news from Mingguan Malaysia).

The search for the Water Dragon started here as soon as we get to hire the boat. We captured some of the scenic views from the balcony of the restaurant before we proceed to the boat jetty on the lake.

After about 1hr of boat journey on the lake, we did not find any clue to the existences of the Water Dragon, we returned to the jetty. However, the beautiful lotus flowers surrounded by the swampy plants were enough for us to remember it as a symbol for the disappearance of the Mysterious Water Dragon.
In the picture below is the symbol of the mysterious water dragon, whether it is for real or not, i am not really sure.

On our way home we stopped once again at the Patin Cini Restaurant for evening tea. We had the best Malaysian pancake with hot coffee. Before we left we pick up our pre-ordered of masak lemak ikan patin. The ride home is without any hitch.

This is my most joyous 'santai' ride with Naza Cruse Owner Group of the Water Dragon Year. Thank you to all riders for the wonder full ride.
Note to the post title: Do not chase the dragon by the head.....it is fatal, so it is obvious for me to chase the dragon by the tail.
TQ for 'Like' my post.
